We often fool ourselves about communication. Without even saying a word, when we perhaps have the intention of being inscrutable and not wanting to communicate anything, we are unaware of how much we are still able to communicate. Unfortunately, this is one of nature’s great deceptions! Every action, no matter how small, communicates something to somebody (unless, of course, we are alone!).

However hard you may try, you cannot fail to communicate” is the first axiom of communication.

We are incapable of not communicating, even when we do nothing. Communication is not only verbal, but also gestural and visual. Given that it is impossible not to communicate, it is therefore better to know how to communicate effectively. Good communication skills are fundamental to our success in life, work and relationships. In business this ability is crucial to the success of the team and the company itself.

Communicating effectively means being able to express yourself, both verbally and non-verbally, in any situation with any audience (whether they are a colleague, collaborator, superior, supplier or customer), in a clear and consistent manner. Without effective communication, our message may come across the wrong way, be incomprehensible or lead to frustration or even disastrous consequences arising from misunderstandings.

This training course is aimed at all professionals who want to improve their communication skills in both day-to-day (meetings, internal presentations, team management) and broader contexts (public speaking to an unfamiliar audience). The course is based on the sincerity and simplicity of personal communication. First we concentrate on body language. Later, you will learn the most important strategy and message building techniques.

With targeted tutorials you will also learn how to handle questions (as well as difficult situations, including verbal aggression) in order to improve your powers of persuasion and to promote your ideas.
