People often get used to the waste around them. They have lived with it for so long that they no longer notice it and are unable to get rid of it. This happens at all levels of an organisation, from the workers on the shop-floor to the CEO. Waste is spoken about in production processes, administrative support processes, product development and in products or even people and the way they are utilised within the company, which is not always in a way that adds value. Sometimes in this situation, after just one visit, an experienced Lean consultant will be able to highlight waste and inefficiencies which we never knew existed or that we have never been able to get rid of. It’s never easy to find what you’re looking for if you don’t know what to look for.

This short, high-impact training course aims to raise awareness of how and where waste is generated in the company and which Lean Thinking principles are applicable to getting rid of that waste; laying the first foundations to creating an organisation capable of continually improving and adapting to both environmental and market changes. This course is for all the people in a company, as each one contributes to the possible generation of waste, but also everyone is able to contribute to resolving the issue of waste. An organisation aligned with the key principles to get the most out of its processes and resources is an organisation that possesses the core principles to be efficient.
