Learning and improving verbal communication
Learning and improving nonverbal communication
Learning and improving para-verbal communication
We often delude ourselves about communication. Even when we stand still without saying a word, perhaps with the intention of being impenetrable and not wanting to communicate, we are wrong. Unfortunately, the deception behind this illusion is great! Every person, in everything or action they do, always communicates something to someone, unless they are alone.
“However you try, you cannot help but communicate “, it is the first axiom of communication.
You can’t not communicate, even when you’re doing nothing. Communication is not only verbal, but also gestural and visual. Given that it is impossible not to communicate, it is better to know how to communicate effectively. Good communication skills, therefore, are essential for success in life, work, and relationships. In the company, this ability is essential to the success of the team and the company itself.
Communicating effectively means knowing how to express yourself in any situation with any interlocutor (colleague, collaborator, superior, supplier, customer) both verbally and nonverbally, clearly and consistently with your state of mind. Without effective communication, our message can turn into error, misunderstanding, frustration, or even disaster for being misunderstood.
This course is aimed at all professionals who want to improve their communication skills in everyday contexts (meetings, internal presentations, team management) and in broader contexts (public speaking to an audience of “strangers”). One relies precisely on the authenticity and naturalness of personal communication. We first work on the body and individual expressiveness. In a second step, the main strategy and message construction techniques are concretely learned.
With targeted exercises, you also learn to manage questions (even difficult ones, including verbal aggression) to increase your ability to convince and promote our ideas.
