Lenovys and EBS: managerial training for food industry companies
Lenovys and EBS, the Sectoral Bilateral Body for the Food Industry, established in September 2022 and currently chaired by Unione Italiana Food, officially announce the signing of a strategic partnership aimed at promoting managerial training initiatives for companies within the food sector.
EBS is composed of the leading employer associations and trade unions that are signatories to the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the Food Industry (ANCIT, ANICAV, ASSICA, ASSITOL, ASSOBIBE, ASSOBIRRA, ASSOLATTE, FEDERVINI, MINERACQUA, UNAITALIA, UNIONE ITALIANA FOOD, and trade unions FAI-CISL, FLAI-CGIL, UILA-UIL).
The body operates within the sector’s contractual welfare system, with the mission of enhancing support actions for both workers and businesses, ensuring income integration services, and promoting training activities to develop professional skills across the industry.
The food industry segment served by EBS includes over 7,000 companies and approximately 214,000 employees under the Food Industry CCNL, underscoring the significant economic and social impact of this sector within the Italian production system.
The collaboration with Lenovys stems from a shared commitment to providing member companies with advanced tools for managerial development and leadership.
Specifically, this new agreement strengthens a path already undertaken by the 12 trade associationsforming EBS. Since October 2025, these associations have encouraged food sector companies to participate in the Executive Master Lean Lifestyle Leadership promoted by Lenovys.
Through this agreement, Lenovys will provide its extensive expertise in executive education, while EBS will facilitate access for member companies to these training initiatives. The ultimate goal is to enhance the strategic, organizational, and leadership competencies required to navigate the modern challenges of competitiveness and sustainability.
