Retail – Supply chain

Middle East-based retail group. Manages 25 premium brands in 300+ stores in the GCC area. The group has developed the fashion division very quickly in recent years and needed to build a group supply chain.

Critical issues

  • Brands collected in 4 divisions; 4 independent supply chains
  • Sales planning, stocks, cash flow impact were managed independently by division and there was no consolidation at group level
  • Not having a common sales planning and demand planning, it was not possible to create a group supply chain and this caused very high costs

  • Implemented the S&OP group process
  • New OTB process and stock planning
  • Up to 5% increase in sales with better planning and data driven decisions during the season
  • Data-driven logistics planning enabled the kick off of group logistics
